NILAI UNIVERSITY COLLEGE (NUC), a place where i studied and completed my 'Diploma in Mechanical Engineering', a platform for me to re-discover myself, build-up myself, my skills, broaden my knowledge, network, and gain experiences. Indeed, NUC did bring out the best in myself, just as her motto stated; "We Bring Out The Best In You".

2 years and 4 months of campus life; 7 semesters of studies, funs and craps, as well as buddies that i knew throughout this period... All are PRICELESS! All are precious to me, as a great assets and memories in my life. People around the college, matters that happened; i observed, and learned from them... Hereby, really wish to shout out: "Thank You!!!" loudly to all who brought me into a better person, for today. Without you all, this JackAss won't writing these craps, at this moment...

1st semester (May 06, Long)

Subjects taken:

CHM 161 (Chemistry for Engineering),
EGR 111 (Computing and Visual Basic Programming),
EGR 112 (Workshop Technology),
MAT 161 (Foundation Engineering Math II),
PHY 161 (Physics for Engineering II).

The very first week of my diploma, i involved and participated in the orientation program that specially organized for newbies like me. Honestly, i did not have fun during the program, maybe due to the activities were lame in my point of view (No offense!). However, i do performed a 'lame show' during the orientation night as well... Meanwhile, this was the time when i got close to few of my coursemates, especially Hinn and Audri. They did provide me entertainment, and did not forget the first game i played along with them was Counter-Strike, LOL... Never forget, i joined LEO Club and Chinese Language Society (CLS) as well... Throughout the first semester, i think the studies were a bit 'piece of cake', so i took it easily...

2nd semester (September 06, Long)

Subjects taken:

EGR 123 (Material Science),
ENG 160 (Technical English),
MAT 162 (Engineering Math I),
STA 265 (Statistics for Engineers),
MPW 1133 (Malaysian Studies),
MPW 1153 (Moral Studies - Non Muslims).

The starting of this semester, i paid the price for taking the studies for 1st semester easily. This was because i got a 'B' for my EGR 112. Thanks to Mr. Kumares who gave me this shock! (@.@) Anyway, my studies still kept going and this semester, there were few coursemates who caught my serious attention, they are Adam Jong and Isaac Yin (Yin Jiao). Both of them performed the same study spirit as Hinn, which brought up my study mood whenever i was around with them. 3 of them, showed their great potential of mastering their studies and applying them nicely, unlike me, study for the sake of the papers, certificate.

3rd semester (January 07, Short)

Subjects taken:

EGR 131 (Circuits and Field Theory),
MAT 270 (Engineering Math II),
EGM 211 (Statics),
EGM 224 (Mechanical Laboratory I).

In this first short semester of my diploma, i met Mr. Kumares again in EGM 211. I felt, terrified and awed by his hairstyle at that moment. Whatever it is, this semester, i do enjoyed myself and played even harder than previous semesters. This was because i started getting active in DotA (Defense of the Ancients). A LAN game that stacked my fingers to my laptop all the time... But, as one of the 四大才子, i also put my great efforts in my studies as well.

4th semester (March 07, Long)

Subjects taken:

EGR 122 (Engineering Drawing and Graphics),
EGM 212 (Mechanics of Solids I),
EGM 213 (Thermodynamics I),
EGM 221 (Dynamics).

Luckily, Mr. Kumares did not give me another 'shock' in my result slip, and once again, i maintained my CGPA. This was the first semester i taught by Mr. Winson Lim, our beloved Head Of Department. This semester, i used to hang out with few friends that moved out to Desa Palma, such as Louis Loo, Leon Su and Wetex Gan. Meanwhile, I started to hang out with Ah Pee and Han Xun, who both totally different guys that managed to hook up together and perform a nice partnership in their money-making efforts (Not sure about the detailed efforts). From both of them, i learned the way to deal with different people, and talk wisely in front of 'smart 'people. Almost the end of this semester, i went on a LEO Forum trip to Penang, along with Sherrie C-K-L, Ah Pee, Winson Yew and Chewy Ong. A trip that considered fun but tired, and this was the trip that brought me a great buddy, Sherrie.

5th semester (July 07, Long)

Subjects taken:

EGF 221 (Manufacturing Processes I),
EGM 223 (Thermodynamics II),
EGR 312 (Industrial Engineering and Management),
EGM 231 (Mechanics of Machine),
EGM 232 (Fluid Mechanics I),
EGR 311 (Instrumentation and Control System).

This was the busiest semester throughout my diploma. Totally packed with classes, assignments, tests and club activities. (Did not forget the time that i started to drink alcohol drastically, thanks to Roy!) However, this was the semester that brought me lots of fun and joy, because there are many new buddies appeared in my campus life. They are Iris, Shu Yee, Chan How, Khai Lynn, Ah Lam, Ah Chan, and Ah Ho. Their appearances seemed nothing for me in the first sight, but when i started to hang out with them, they are totally the buddies of life.

6th semester (January 08, Short)

Subjects taken:

EGM 222 (Mechanics of Solids II),
EGM 313 (Design of Machine Elements),
EGM 312 (Fluid Mechanics II).

I was lucky to say that every new semester, i got new friends (consider best friends) in my life. This semester was the same as she appeared in my life, she was Mon Wong. An ordinary looking girl but with extraordinary thinking and experiences. And honestly, this girl caught my heart. In this semester, i was lucky to have many buddies along with my sister to celebrate my 20th birthday. I should say this party was a great one and make my memories more colorful. Anyway, this semester was a massive turning point in my life, as the trip for this semester break to Cameron Highland was a great trip that too hard to forget in my life.

7th semester (March 08, Long)

EGF 312 (Industrial Automation and Control System @ Mechatronics),
EGM 311 (Mechanical Engineering Design Project),
EGF 314 (Numerical Control and Robotics).

Finally, i came to my last semester, a semester that lots of tears and laughter. In this semester, i highly appreciated Adam Jong the most. Without him, i guess my final project won't be a success. Meanwhile, also did not forget the sweet memories with the one that i cared and precious the most, throughout the final moments of my campus life in NUC. Somehow, this semester i took it as a semester that brought me lots of test in my life, no matter in making decisions, having an affair, or, carrying responsible on my shoulder.

Conclusion:
Overall, some people were right about me. I am those type of making friends with certain motives behind it, but somehow i can make it in a natural way that others won't felt that i was using them as a learning tool in life. (Finally, i admitted it here.) Thoughts and advices were given to people that i observed and cared, but whether they treasured it or dumped it, only they will know. Anyway, as i mentioned before, this is just only a platform for me to re-discover myself, in order to face a bigger challenge in my life, in the future.
