Myth on 冬至

The myth goes in this way:

"If the weather on winter solstice (冬至) is a bright sunny day, then the coming month before Chinese New Year will be a rainy month."

Perhaps there are some truth behind the myth, because so far, 9 days into 2009... 9 days of raining at Sandakan...

Well, theoretically, Malaysia is in the tropical climate zone. And now is the period of North-East monsoon season (early of November till March), thus our region is having a low pressure atmosphere, so expected to be rainy and windy days ahead during this period.

Whatever it is, hopefully there will be nice weather ahead during CNY then...

p/s: So, you call this myth 'Confirmed' or 'Busted'? Well, i'll call that as 'Plausible'!
